Enrollment & Registration
Atlanta ISD is accepting new and transfer students. Enrollment packets are available at all campuses. Returning students will register online.
The following documents are needed for new student registration:
Returning Students
Online registration for students who are returning to Atlanta ISD will open July 30 through the Parent Portal. Those needing assistance with online registration may go to the campuses during registration times.
Atlanta Primary School:
July 30, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and July 31, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Atlanta Elementary School:
July 30, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and July 31, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Atlanta Middle School Registration:
For a fast registration, fill out all forms online in the Parent Portal before arriving. Incoming 7th graders need up-to-date shot records.

Atlanta High School (Registration/Schedule Pick-Up):
Online registration in the Parent Portal must be completed prior to picking up schedules. Assistance is available; however, students will not be allowed to get their schedules, IDs or Chromebooks until online registration is complete.
Seniors – August 5, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Juniors – August 6, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Sophomores – August 7, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Freshmen – August 8, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Attending meet-the-teacher events is important for parents, students and teachers to get to know each other and establish a positive relationship, which can ultimately lead to academic success.

Breakfast & Lunch
All students eat FREE! Atlanta ISD qualifies to operate the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), which allows the district to provide breakfast and lunch at no charge. Check our Food Services page closer to the start of school for the upcoming menus.
Transportation
Atlanta ISD provides bus transportation to and from school and the after-school program for its students. For more information on signing your child up to ride the bus, contact your child’s campus.

After-School Program
ACE/BLAST, a free after-school program, provides academic assistance and enrichment activities, as well as free dinner and transportation afterward. The registration deadline is August 1. ACE/BLAST will begin on August 12, the first day of school. Those who register after the deadline will be given a start date once school begins. Download the registration form.
Immunizations
Atlanta Primary School: Parents of students entering Pre-K and Kindergarten, please make sure your children are up to date on their immunizations. Contact their primary care physician or Nurse Crimson Tyson at ctyson@atlisd.net with any questions.
Atlanta Middle School: Incoming seventh graders must show proof of Tdap and Meningococcal at registration. If you have any questions, please contact Nurse Kara DeLay at kdelay@atlisd.net.
